Our tier based pricing system allows you to save money based on volume and you can save on shipping fee’s too by providing your own FedEx, UPS or DHL account number.
Dot gain is a natural and needed increase in tonal values from file to print or film to print. The object is not to eliminate dot gain but achieve the correct dot gain required to match a specified target. ReyHan PGF offers services to help you develop custom dot gain compensation curves for all combinations of your press, substrate and line screen.
Line screen is a function of viewing distance. The closer a product is viewed, the greater the need for a higher line count. Use the formula below or ask your project manager how how ReyHan PGF can recommend the correct line count for your intended viewing distance.
[240/distance to be viewed in feet] = final lpi recommendation.
We have developed CMYK and spot color angles geared specifically for screen, litho and flexo printing. ReyHan PGF offers services to help you develop custom angle sets conducive to all combinations of your screen mesh, press and line screen.
Trapping is conventionally referred to as "chokes and spreads" where white space in between colors is eliminated by an overlapping of colors. Trapping can be tricky and complicated at the application level. Take advantage of our ability to do mitered traps and let us do the trapping for you on one of our high-end trapping stations.
Yes. ReyHan PGF has helped dozens of large format graphics printers set up and fine tune in-house operations through consulting, training, remote and on-site technical support, digital printer calibration and support. The consulting is registered as Chromatix®, has received rave reviews by participating clients and is now exclusively offered as a service through Nazdar Consulting Services.
No. We recommend testing and then determining the best order based on the type of printing, substrate, ink line and amount of GCR used in the image. We recommend each company find the best order for their process and then not change except for special effects. We also provide instruction on how to use changes in print order for controlled special effects.
You have control over your dot gain. When using film, the dot on your plate can gain excessively when exposed in a vacuum frame. With direct to plate, the dot is imaged with a precision thermal laser, therefore, the image on the plate is clean and free of dirt that can get trapped between the film and plate causing hot spots.
Direct to plate will save on roll up time, make ready time, and lower you spoilage cost. The plate is designed to take on less water, which allows you to print sharper and have the colors more vivid.
The integrity and repeatability of direct to plate is remarkable. You can go into a file and make a change to the image and output any number of plates and they will fit to the original plates.
This is the best part of direct to plate. When the image is burned onto the plate each color is done from the same point on the plate, when the plate are hung on press they should be very close to register with minimal moves.
Direct to plate can hold from a half percent dot to a 99.5 percent dot, giving you a complete range of control. The structure of the dot also allows less dot gain and better color control. If you have any questions please contact the ReyHan PGF technical support for more information.
Our camera can project up to 62”x166”,and our imagesetters can output up to 62”x96”.
Yes. Please provide your Purchase Order number on the output request form.
In most cases, if we receive all of the required information and files by noon central time, we can ship final films or proofs for approval the same day.
File Delivery
We have several FTP servers, click the link below to access our FTP information and request a login and password.
ftp.reyhanpgf.com
Yes, we can use JPEG files as is, but would prefer EPS or TIF.
Yes, our high-end rips can handle transparency.
Yes, in fact, if you have any doubts about the compatibility of our systems, we would encourage letting us perform a test. There is no cost and it's designed to be a preventative measure if there are any problems. The test can be arranged through your territory manager or project manager.
Yes. We can manually test your files the same day they are received. Our project managers are trained to spot and head off problems before they ever happen.
You can mail a disk to one of our facilities, but we prefer you stuff or zip the artwork and send the files via FTP to our high-speed servers. You may also e-mail the stuffed or zipped files. Stuffed or zipped files reduce the risk of file corruption and take less space, therefore taking less time to transfer.

Indefinitely, if requested, and we can also manage your database of images. As an added service, we archive all files for all your jobs but cannot guarantee retrieval unless permanent archival is specifically requested.
We recommend uploading your stuffed files in batches of 300 MB or less. We would prefer to keep email attachments down to a maximum of 5 MB.

Yes. Whenever possible, convert your fonts to line art. This will eliminate the need for them and reduce the possibility of mistakes. Do not stylize fonts, because our imagesetters are unable to reproduce styled typefaces.
Yes. Then you and all of your vendors will have the same starting point, a CMYK file. If different systems convert the RGB files there will be different output results.
If you are unable to convert your files, we will convert them using our company standard profiles.
Yes. If we need to edit your files, it will save time and trouble if we have the layered files rather than a flattened image.
The resolution should be 1.5x to 2x the final line count at final size. For example: A 50 lpi print would need a resolution of 75 to 100 dpi at final size. If the art were 1/4 size of the final that means you would multiply the final required resolution by the enlargement of 400%. 75 x 400%= 300 dpi at 1/4 size would be fine for 50 lpi final.
All vector art should be provided as Adobe Illustrator. If you are using Freehand or Corel Draw, convert all text to outlines and export the artwork as an EPS.
A PDF should be provided for us to use as a proof for quality control of the content. If you have an approved proof for color, you will be required to ship this to the facility producing the job.
We accept them either way, but prefer them linked. Linked images make file sizes smaller and allow us to verify image quality.
Yes. We can set up the page layout to your specs, do any color manipulation that is needed, trap your files and provide you with a file that is ready for digital printing.
Yes. We are the color experts. We can make color adjustments, add or clone elements, clip images and many other manipulation techniques.
Simply download the ReyHanPGF “output request form” (PDF), fill it out completely and fax/email it to your project manager or include it with your files.

62.5X95.5 inches at 5,080 DPI. 31X43 inches with resolutions up to 20,320 DPI.
Most deliveries will be next day unless otherwise specified using UPS or Fed Ex. Same day delivery may also be available. Please call for quote and availability on same day service.
Encoders
We have done some encoders with lengths to 112 inches.
No, we custom make every encoder to your specific needs. There are no minimums on quantities ordered.
Yes. We offer an optional coating that will protect the encoder from damage from ink overspray, scratching, and many different solvents used for cleaning the encoder.
The best way is to have a print availabe showing the overall length and width of the encoder, along with the LPI and quantities needed. If a print is not available yet, give us a call, we will gather the information we need to generate a quote for your encoder.
