Color Separation
In 1993, ReyHan PGF changed the color separations industry by introducing a system that could match an analog proof for screen printing – a significant barrier to quality that was previously assumed could not be achieved. ReyHan PGF proved that the theory that screen printers could not match an analog proof made for litho printers was false. By moving to the end of our clients’ press with measurement instrumentation, we made it possible for our clients to hit any color target they desired and control the predictability of the substrate, ink and dot percentage.
ReyHan PGF has developed one of the most effective press fingerprinting tools the industry has ever seen – it’s called the ReyHan PGF LDA test and combines 96 press tests on a single screen. The LDA test synthesizes as much as 4 months of testing into a 4-hour procedure. The fruits of this procedure can be harvested right away, resulting in immediate quality and productivity improvements.
