Direct to Plate
A growing number of printers are discovering the advantages of direct to plate pre-press imaging.
Direct to plate can hold from a half percent dot to a 99.5 percent dot, providing a more complete range of control. The structure of the dot also allows less dot gain and better color control and consistency.
We currently provide Creo VLF (very large format) 5880 Trendsetter Computer to Plate Imager which offers high quality reproduction at any line screen. Front end work is accomplished with the Barco and PackEdge work flow.
CreoScitex Digital Spectrum Proofsetter
- Max Image Area: 28" x 38".
- Gloss Proof is also available.
- Able to laminate to most customers supplied stocks.
- Use with a SWOP Standard for Yellow, Magenta and Cyan with a High Density Black.
- Special colors of Purple, Red, Green, Blue, Light Gray, Orange, Gold and Silver.
- Most line screens and dot shapes are available.
CreoScitex Digital Plate setter is the Trendsetter 5880
- Maximum Plate Size: 58" x 77"
- We also provide 48.5" x 64.625"
- Any other plate size than the two listed above will require advanced notice.
- Minimum Plate Size: 30" x 40".
All pre-press work is performed on a Macintosh Platform
Barco imposition platform with duel Flexrips. Hewlett Packard 3000 ink jet printer used for position proofs.
